MAKTKAMP is a Norwegian metal band that plays energetic and melodic hardcore, metal and punk, also referred to as 'smash metal'. After the release of their debut EP in 2020, the band have been highly productive, releasing three full length albums and the concept EP Hatriarkatet. Their latest album "Mental Razzia" was released in 2025 to great response from music media across Europe, and paves the way for a new MAKTKAMP era.
MAKTKAMP are known for their eye catching, high energy live concerts, exemplified by the 6/6 review of their concert at Bastard Bard in Tromsø (Nordlys, 02.09.2023). In their short history, MAKTKAMP have played at venues across the full length of Norway, as well as a few in Sweden and Germany.
